Bayern Munich are ready to launch a bid to bring Paris Saint-Germain head coach Thomas Tuchel to the Allianz Arena, according to reports.

As well as Bayern, Pochettino has been touted as a potential replacement for Unai Emery at Arsenal, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United.

The German giants sacked manager Niko Kovac in November after a dismal run of form which saw Bayern win only five of their first 10 games.



Mauricio Pochettino has also been linked with the job after his departure from Tottenham, but the report claims the Argentinian would want to appoint his own assistant and coaching staff - which is unlikely to include Flick.

"My first decision was to come back to Argentina, return to my home and see family and friends.

Hansi Flick, initially brought in as Kovac's assistant in the summer, was handed the reins on an interim basis but Bayern are still thought to be on the hunt for a permanent successor to Kovac.

"At my age I don't need a lot of time to recover.
