Unai Emery is considering bringing Ismael Bennacer back to Arsenal.

That’s according to French publication Le10 Sport, who claim Arsenal are thinking about triggering a buy-back clause in his contract.

Bennacer made one senior appearance for Arsenal - starting in a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Carabao Cup in 2015.

The central midfielder was sold to Empoli for £900k in August 2017.

He was pivotal in Empoli’s promotion to Serie A and has since been capped seven times by Algeria.

Now, Le10 Sport claim Arsenal are considering re-signing the 21-year-old by activating a buy-back clause in his contract.

Liverpool and Man Utd battle

Liverpool and Man Utd are battling to sign Nicolas Pepe this summer, L’Equipe claim.

They say United have joined Liverpool in the race to sign the winger.

L’Equipe reckon the Premier League big boys are willing to pay around £65m for Pepe.

Manchester City and Arsenal have also been credited with interest in Pepe ahead of the summer transfer window.

Wanted: Dwight McNeil

Arsenal are one of four Premier League clubs running the rule over Burnley ace Dwight McNeil, according to reports.

McNeil has enjoyed a stellar breakthrough campaign at Burnley having capitalised on the winger injury crisis Sean Dyche has been forced to endure.

The 19-year-old has racked up 17 top-flight appearances, 16 of which have been starts, on the way to scoring three times and providing five assists.

And it seems Arsenal could offer the winger the next step in a bright career which started on the books at Manchester United.

The Daily Star reckon Arsenal have had McNeil watched in recent weeks as he has continued to impress for Burnley.

Antoine Griezmann’s Football Manager squad

Antoine Griezmann believes he can do a better job managing Arsenal than Unai Emery but only two stars from the current squad make his cut.

Griezmann, who is a big fan of the computer game Football Manager, shared his latest Arsenal squad on social media.

However, only compatriot Alexandre Lacazette and defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos appear to have made the Atletico Madrid striker’s first-team squad.

Lacazette is the only player to keep his place in the starting line-up as he leads the line in Griezmann’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
