Arsenal will look to tie up the futures of two of their key players this summer by offering new contracts to Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

In a mixed season for the Gunners, the two forwards impressed, with Lacazette scoring 19 times in all competitions and Aubameyang managing 31 goals in his first full season with the club.

While neither are nearing the end of their current deals, the Arsenal board are keen to secure their futures, with Lacazette being linked with a move to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, while a switch to China has been talked about for Aubameyang, report football.

Lacazette's current deal expires the following year, in 2022 after signing a five-year contract when he arrived from Lyon in 2017.

Lacazette was asked about his future in May and was very much open to staying at Arsenal, although not entirely committal.

Aubameyang has not spoken so directly on it, but suggested he was committed to the club by liking a post on Twitter comparing him to Thierry Henry and suggesting he could become an Arsenal legend.
