A three-time UEFA Champions League winning manager could soon be available to Arsenal for free after the laest reports suggested Carlo Ancelotti could soon be sacked by Napoli.

Arsenal are on the look out for a permanent manager after the sacking of Unai Emery last week.

Benitez still has two years left on his contract at Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang where he earns £12 million per year.

A much higher fee that that would be required to buy the Spaniard out of his contract, however, with the article stating Benitez has world-record buyout clause of more than £20 million.

It is the last name from that list that has drawn attention, however, after the latest reports suggested the legendary Italian could be facing his marching orders from current club Napoli.

A report from British newspaper The Sun states: “The Italian is said to be nearing the exit door at Napoli and could well be removed from his post after their final Champions League group game with Genk next week.” “Should Arsenal opt to go for the former Chelsea boss, they would be able to secure his services on the cheap after he is sacked by Napoli.” “The three-time Champions League winning boss is highly regarded at the Emirates Stadium and would bring a wealth of experience to the role.” “He remains adamant, though, that he will be able to turn around Napoli’s ailing fortunes and retain his job.” Meanwhile, a report from British newspaper the Daily Mail revealed that Arsenal will have to pay a huge premium if they were to succeed in securing the services of another potential managerial candidate – Rafa Benitez.

The Spaniard endured a difficult time at the Emirates, with his failure to address the club’s defensive woes and difficulty in conveying his message to the players cited as key reasons why his spell ultimately proved unsuccessful.
