Barcelona have lowered their valuation of Samuel Umtiti to £27million amid interest from Manchester United and Arsenal, according to reports.

Inter are thought to be keen on Umtiti - they need a defender and Diego Godin, who they signed last summer, is already 34-years-old.

According to Sport, Barcelona hope the lowered valuation would allow Inter to pay Umtiti the wages he wants as part of any switch.

The report also says that the Catalan side would be keen to get Umtiti's wages off their books this summer.

There have not been any discussions between Inter and Umtiti yet but Barcelona have told his representatives that they would be willing to let him go.

An issue is that Umtiti would prefer a move to the Premier League if he leaves Barcelona in the summer - with both Arsenal and United thought to be keen.

Umtiti is interested in moves to those clubs as a number of his international team-mates play for both sides.
