The Premier League big boys are back in action after a fortnight off, barring the odd FA Cup replay, and there are some huge fixtures to look forward to.

Manchester United’s hopes of mounting a credible top four challenge could well hinge on at least avoiding defeat against a Chelsea side whose morale has been lifted by confirmation of Hakim Ziyech’s impending arrival.

Spurs, who have ground out some decent results in recent weeks, travel to relegation threatened Aston Villa, while runaway leaders Liverpool could be the victims of the biggest upset of the season at rock bottom Norwich.

As usual, Betfair ambassador Dimitar Berbatov previews the weekend action for Metro.co.uk…

Southampton vs Burnley

On paper, this should be quite a tight game. They are both on the same points in the table but I like the way Southampton are approaching the games and I like the way Danny Ings in consistently performing, he is in a great vein of form, so I think they will have enough to overcome Burnley at home.

Dimitar’s prediction: 2-1

Norwich vs Liverpool Sadio Mane is back from injury to boost Liverpool’s already formidable attack (Picture: Getty)

Norwich are rock bottom, and I have a feeling that if anybody is going to beat Liverpool this season it will be an underdog. City went to Carrow Road and were beaten 3-2, they have proven that they can beat a top side there so I don’t see why they can’t up their game to take on Klopp’s team.

Dimitar’s prediction: 3-2

Aston Villa vs Spurs Jack Grealish continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United (Picture: Getty)

Aston Villa are just one point above the relegation zone so they are fighting for their lives, and they will bring that fight into the game. Spurs have a good couple of results recently but I can see Villa being a handful.

Dimitar’s prediction: 2-2

Arsenal vs Newcastle Mikel Arteta is still searching for a second Premier League win as Arsenal boss (Picture: Getty)

Arsenal have drawn their last four games and they need to turn them into wins. Both teams are level on points, but I think it will be a long trip for Newcastle and Arteta will be desperate for a win in front of a home crowd, and it is time for a win.

Dimitar’s prediction: 3-0

Chelsea vs Man United Odion Ighalo is set to make his Man Utd debut against Chelsea (Picture: Man Utd)

This is a massive game in the race for top four. If United want to be seriously challenging for a top four spot then need to get something on Monday. I honestly think that both teams are pretty even at the moment and both need to do better and become more consistent.
