Gary Neville says Liverpool's Roberto Firmino would be the first striker on his teamsheet.

The Brazilian has been a massive success since his move to Anfield from Hoffenheim, and is continuing to play a key role in the Reds' success in recent years.

Firmino has started 11 of Liverpool's 12 Premier League matches this season, scoring three goals and providing four assists.

Leicester's Jamie Vardy currently leads the goal scoring charts this season with 11 goals with Chelsea's Tammy Abraham second on 10.

Speaking on commentary during Liverpool's clash with Manchester City on Sky Sports, Neville said: "If I was going to pick one centre-forward for my team in the Premier League, it would be Roberto Firmino."

VAR did check Salah's header at the Stockley Park HQ, and the PGMOL released a brief statement that said: "VAR checked for possible offside, and confirmed that the Salah goal was correct."

But former Manchester United defender Neville is adamant he would not pick any other striker over Firmino at present.
