Unai Emery's woes continued as Arsenal fell to a 2-0 defeat to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.

Mesut Ozil was handed a second successive start as Unai Emery opted to keep the three-man defence, despite drawing with Vitoria in the Europa League in midweek.

A 10th league away defeat in 19 games for Arsenal, and Emery faces an uncertain future after another poor display.

After an even start to the match, Leicester felt they should have had a penalty just 10 minutes in.

Leicester began to get a hold of the game and had chances to break the deadlock with Ayoze Perez going close and Jamie Vardy somehow failing to make contact on the end of the Spaniard's cross with the goal at his mercy.

Ben Chilwell's free-kick found Caglar Soyuncu at the far post and the Turkish defender went down under the challenge from Matteo Guendouzi, but no penalty was awarded by referee Chris Kavanagh.

Pereira was involved again, finding Vardy at the far post and when he laid it back to Maddison, the 22-year-old thundered his low effort into the corner.
