Outgoing Arsenal left-back Cohen Bramall has revealed that he knew his career at the Emirates Stadium was probably over when former manager Arsene Wenger left the club.

Wenger left the Emirates at the end of the 2017/18 season after over two decades in charge.

Bramall joined the Gunners from non-league Hednesford Town in January 2017, but failed to make a first team appearance for the club and it was announced last week that the full back would be leaving after the expiry of his contract at the end of June, along with six other players.

Bramall found himself regularly training with the first team squad under the Frenchman, but has revealed that things have been different for him under the stewardship of new boss Unai Emery.

I already accepted it when Arsene went."
