Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is keen to replicate the kind of success that Thierry Henry, Ian Wright, Tony Adams and Dennis Bergkamp enjoyed in their respective career at Arsenal after inking a new three-year contract with the club. Aubameyang confirmed that he has put pen to paper on an extension on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old striker has managed an incredible 72 goals in just 111 appearances for the Gunners, adding 36 assists, since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.

He had entered the final 12 months of his previous deal, sparking concerns that he could leave the Emirates this summer or in 2021 when his agreement was due to run out.

But the Gabon international has insisted that it was "never in doubt" that he would stay on at the north London outfit.
