As problems continue for the redeveloped White Hart Lane, when could Spurs finally move in?

As it currently stands, the earliest game to become the stadium’s first would be the Premier League match against London rivals Crystal Palace on March 16.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy apologised to Spurs fans for the latest setback, which has been caused by ongoing construction and safety issues.

While the club haven’t announced anything yet, it is understood the stadium’s inaugural game will not be played against Arsenal on March 2 as it has been blocked over security fears, though this has not been confirmed by Spurs.

The new 62,062-capacity ground was due to be completed last September but the club won’t be able to move into the arena for several weeks yet.

As the stadium saga continues, when could Tottenham finally head back to White Hart Lane?

The club confirmed the Premier League matches against Watford (January 30), Newcastle (February 2) and Leicester (February 10) will be held at the national stadium as well as Sunday’s clash against Manchester United.
