That's according to the Daily Mail, who claim the Emirates is one of only two Premier League grounds to have not received a five-star hygiene rating.

According to the latest hygiene report conducted at the stadium, 'a failure' to properly close doors in a central processing area has led to increases in rodents.



That has prompted Arsenal to send their staff for extra hygiene training and increase their pest proofing around the stadium.



"We have always taken hygiene matters extremely seriously and have increased our actions to ensure Emirates Stadium exceeds the recommendations made," the statement read. "Increased visits from pest control experts, independent audits, additional staff training and substantial investment in proofing have all been implemented."

The Emirates is one of only two Premier League grounds to have not received a five-star hygiene rating.

News of Arsenal's pest problem comes less than a day after the north Londoners learned their fixtures for the 2019-20 season.
