Arsenal's hierarchy aren't willing to sack Unai Emery after their defeat to Leicester despite fresh calls for his dismissal.

Arsenal have now won just two of their last 10 top-flight games and one of their last seven across all competitions.

The north London outfit's dour performances have seen an ever-increasing number of fans demanding Emery is sacked.

Arsene Wenger picked up more points in his final 50 league games than Emery has amassed in his first 50, despite the new man having an improved squad. Yet The Athletic report that Arsenal chiefs watching on in Leicester are willing to let Emery off the hook because they think they saw an improved display on show.

The club's powerbrokers are also said to think that Leicester are an extremely strong outfit, particularly at the King Power.

Liverpool and Arsenal are the only other teams in the league unbeaten in front of their own fans, with the Reds winning five from five ahead of the visit of Manchester City while the Gunners have drawn three of six.

Arsenal are looking to return to the top four after missing out on Champions League football in all of the last three seasons, including under Emery last term.
