Arsenal and Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Wolves midfielder Conor Coady, according to reports.

Coady is the Wolves captain and is a graduate of Liverpool’s academy and helped his side beat dump the Reds out of the FA Cup.

Wolves are wary of transfer interest in Coady and are ready to hand their skipper a new contract.

The Daily Mail claim rival Premier League clubs are regularly scouting Coady and Arsenal are considered the biggest threat.

Liverpool too are also following Coady’s progress at Wolves in what could be a fairytale return for the Merseyside-born 25-year-old.

Coady has two years left on his current deal at Wolves, and the club want to bump up his wages in a new long-term deal.

As Wolves sit comfortably in eleventh in the league table, Coady is yet to miss a single minute of action this season.

Wolves are prepared to bring Coady’s salary in line with the club’s big earners, like Joao Moutinho and Rui Patricio.

Coady joined Wolves in 2015 from Huddersfield, after Liverpool offloaded the youngster to the Terries in 2014.

The Englishman then helped Wolves gain promotion into the top flight and the club consider him a valuable representative of the club.
